North-West charity, the Lesbian & Gay Foundation, has asked Lib Dem equality spokesperson Lynne Featherstone why LGB&T people should vote for the Liberal Democrats. Lynne talks about the need to crack down on homophobic bullying in schools, but adds "I really don't think anyone can rest on their laurels when it comes to fighting for equal treatment for the LGBT community."

She talks about the amendments she moved to the Equality Act to remove the blanket ban on blood donation by men who sleep with men, and to change the protections on trans people from medical to self-definition. The interview follows the LGF's questioning of Lib Dem John Leech.
